Trustee & Administration Service
If you are the Trustee for your plan, then you have assumed the liability as a fiduciary for the plan.
At Heartland Financial we take on a co-Trustee relationship with you and perform numerous services that substantially reduces your liability as the plan sponsor. The credentials of our staff include attorneys, CPAs, Certified Financial Planners, Chartered Financial Analysts, and other professional designations.
As your retirement plan provider Heartland will assume the role as Trustee, thus substantially limiting your fiduciary liability.
As Trustee we will:
- Meet with you annually (and as requested) to address any needs or concerns.
- Prepare your Investment Policy Statement.
- Perform quarterly due diligence on your investment options.
- Adhere to strict operational and compliance procedures.
- Perform all required compliance tests.
- Prepare signature ready Form 5500 filings.
- Conduct initial and on-going participant education.
- Provide a state of the art Daily Valuation access module for plan participants.
- Provide flexible on-demand reporting with electronic and paper reporting.
