Our own donor-advised fund, Heartland Charitable Trust, is a wonderful tool for simple and flexible charitable giving. Gifts can include cash or other assets, multiple investment alternatives are available, and distributions are made at the advice of the donor or his or her representative. Tax benefits are available to the extent allowable by the IRS and we handle much of the often-confusing paperwork.
