Please bring the following documents with you when you visit Riverside Community Bank to open your new account. Providing this information will allow our knowledgeable staff to assist you in transferring your current automatic deposits and/or withdrawals at the time we open your new account.
1. Copy of your most recent bank checking and/or saving statement.
2. Name, address and phone number of any automatic withdrawals currently occurring on your existing checking account. Example: Automatic insurance payments, gym memberships, utility payments, mortgage/loan payments, TV service payments, etc.
3. Name, address and phone number of any automatic deposits currently occurring on your existing checking account: Example: Payments from annuity/life products, direct deposit of payroll, direct deposit of social security payments, direct deposit of interest from any Certificates of Deposit, direct deposit of unemployment benefits, etc.
4. Name, address and phone number of any automatic payments that are occurring using your EXISTING debit card number. These payments will
need to be discontinued and reestablished when your Riverside Community Bank debit card is received. After you have activated your new debit card, simply call the Personal Banker that opened your new account and they will reestablish the payments using your Riverside Community Bank debit card. Example: IPass fees, newspaper/magazine subscriptions, gym membership fees, etc.
4. We can also re-establish your Online Banking bill payments when we open your new account. To do this, we will need copies of the bill payments that you wish to re-establish. Online Bill Payment is FREE with your Riverside Community Bank checking account. This service allows you to pay all your bills automatically by scheduling payments next day, in the future or reoccurring…all from the convenience of your home computer. In addition, Riverside Community Bank’s Online Bill Payment service keeps complete records of all your payments in one place.
If you prefer not to bring this information to Riverside Community Bank, a form is available that you can complete and bring with you to your appointment. Either way our staff will be happy to make all the necessary phone calls, prepare letters, etc. that are necessary to move your automatic checking activity to your new Riverside Community Bank checking account.
